Digital Curation
You are a curator for an art gallery that showcases work by both human artists and generative adversarial networks (GANs). Each round, you'll see a selection of both types of artwork. As the gallery's curator, it's your job to distinguish human-created from GAN-generated artworks, and select up to three pieces of any kind to display in your gallery. In each round of the game, the generative algorithm's output will increase in complexity, producing higher fidelity - if sometimes surprising - results.
01. Distinguish
For each art piece in a round, decide if the artwork has been painted by a human or produced by a generative algorithm.
02. Curate
At the end of each round, select up to three pieces from the round to add to your collection. These pieces can either be human or GAN creations.
03. Repeat!
Complete all seven rounds to see the generative algorithm develop increasingly complex outputs, with weird and surprising results!
